| Outline | A dopamin (D2) receptor in the central nervous system. It acts on D2 receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) in the medulla oblongata and stimulates CTZ exciting the vomiting center and, thus, exhibiting emetic activity. The product exhibits central nervous system stimulant action at a high dose and expectorant effect by stimulation of airway secretion at a low dose. |
